South Saskatchewan Lily Society Inc.

Lilium philadelphicum - Is know as the "Wild Lily", the "Prairie Lily" or the "Western Red Lily" and is also mistakenly called the "Tiger Lily". It is a native grassland plant that can be seen blooming in late June from Quebec to British Columbia and southward into the United States. Saskatchewan is proud to have this bright little perennial as our Provincial Floral Emblem.

It should be noted that this little beauty is a protected species.
